“Retrospective” Feature Film Project

SYNOPSIS

Struggling middle-aged artist Mark Sexton gets an unexpected chance to revive his career when he receives an invitation to compete for the prestigious Foscari Art Prize.  To claim the prize, he must travel to Rome, then across the country to Venice, with an idealistic young art student as his guide. Through a series of adventures, mysterious encounters, and a passionate reunion with an old flame, Mark finds new inspiration, rediscovers his artistic soul, and resolves old conflicts with former collaborators, lovers, and family.
